Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director

Caitling Jacques is the Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director at DiFilippo Corporate Finance Group, LLC. She has over 15 years of broad financial services experience in business valuation and consulting, audit and general finance. Caitlin has performed valuations of businesses, business interests, financial instruments, and intangible assets for financial accounting and public reporting. Her financial reporting experience includes purchase price allocations pursuant to ASC 805, Step 1 and Step 2 impairment testing pursuant to ASC 350 and valuations of stock-based compensation related to ASC 718. Caitlin has extensive experience valuing complex transactions for identified intangible assets. Additionally, Caitlin has performed gift and estate tax valuations for Limited Liability Companies (LLCs) and Family Limited Partnerships (FLPs).

Caitlin started her career at Arthur Andersen and then spent five years in the assurance practice at RSM (formerly Vitale, Caturano & Company) performing audits of both private and public companies and specialized in manufacturing, distribution and technology companies. She then transitioned to the business valuation practice at RSM, where she spent four years performing and reviewing valuations related to financial accounting. Caitlin also participated in Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 compliance projects and worked with international clients developing risk assessments, control analysis and process documentation. Caitlin has experience providing a broad range of due diligence work for her audit clients, including valuations in connection with mergers and acquisitions. Caitlin was also a finance manager at Bain Capital, LLC for two years, where she worked on financial modeling for various funds.
